Viral video: Indian writer-radio personality dies during live telecast

Jitendra died while talking to Good Morning J&K host Zahid Mukhtar

Noted writer-radio personality Rita Jitendra died during a live  Doordarshan Kashmir telecast on Monday.

Footage of Jitendra suffering cardiac arrest and collapsing while talking to Good Morning J&K host Zahid Mukhtar has gone viral on social media.



Jitendra, a one-time secretary of Indian-held Kashmir's Academy of Heart, Culture & Languages, had been invited to speak about her life and times.

The deceased was taken to Srinagar's Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital where doctors confirmed her passing. The body of the deceased has been handed over to her kin.
