Independence Day: ADC to Quaid-i-Azam graces RAC ceremony
CM Murad, while paying tribute to the Quaid, pledged to "work together and make Sindh a hub of peace, where everyone can send their children to the best schools."
Murad claimed that the construction of the Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand dams were approved during the Pakistan Peoples Party's (PPP) tenure. He added that 34 dams have been built in Sindh, while an additional 16 dams are under construction.
CM Sindh also added that street crimes across the province had increased under the interim government's tenure, claiming that police was used for matters "related to the elections."
Referring to the high-profile Baldia factory fire case, Shah lamented that though numerous JITs were formed to prove the incident, the matter remains unresolved. He also vowed to punish those responsible and added that street crime would be curbed under his watch.
