ECP accepts nomination papers of 652 candidates for by-polls

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has accepted nomination papers of 652 candidates for by-elections scheduled for October 14, Radio Pakistan reported.

By-polls will be held for 37 seats from national and provincial assemblies. According to the ECP, nomination papers of 24 candidates were rejected.

Nomination papers of three candidates from Sindh, 12 from Punjab and nine from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were rejected.
