‘Efforts needed for industrialisation’ 

The government and private sector would work as partners to achieve economic goals

LAHORE: The government and private sector would work as partners to achieve economic goals in the shortest possible time. It was agreed in a meeting held between Provincial Minister for Industries, Trade and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Malik Tahir Javaid. The provincial minister said joint moves are needed to get desired results as industrial sector is the driving force of the economy and all resources would be utilised to solve the problems being faced by the industries of Punjab. Rapid growth of industry and sustainable development is the top agenda of the ministry, he said, adding comprehensive strategy is being evolved to ensure state-of-the-art industrial infrastructure, skilled workforce and investment facilities to the business community.
