According to NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a scrutiny of the records revealed that the projects were initiated without obtaining permission and no-objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned authorities.
The anti-graft watchdog asked the affectees to approach its provincial bureau to register their claims against the scheme.
Pervaiz Khattak, Siraj Durrani in NAB’s crosshairs
Earlier this week, NAB's executive board approved instituting 14 inquiries against prominent personalities, including former K-P chief minister Pervaiz Khattak and speaker of the Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani.
The board also approved inquiries against K-P's former additional chief secretary (P&D) Khalid Pervaiz, managing director of provincial tourism corporation Mushtaq Khan, Iqbal Z Ahmed, Yousaf Jamil Ansari, director-general of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Iftikhar Qaimkhani, mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, former special assistant to the Sindh CM Imtiaz Malah, Dilawar Hussain Memon, CEO of MEPCO, Sukkur, Nazir Soomro and Crystal Model Town and builders and owner of Rana Associates Rao Muhammad Shakir and others.
Three other investigations were also approved against Vice-Chancellor of the GC University, Faisalabad Dr Shahid Mehboob and DG Finance Quetta Ali Gul Kurd.
