'Game of Thrones' unveils first footage from final season

The clip shows Sansa Stark and Jon Snow's reunion

After fans were told about the extended delay in the release of Game of Thrones final season, HBO teased them with a little surprise. According to Entertainment Weekly, HBO released a video featuring some of the upcoming shows from the TV channel such as Big Little Lies, True Detective and many others along with Game of Thrones.

Final season of 'Game of Thrones' delayed again

While most of the hit TV series' clips were from season seven, there was one in particular that viewers still haven't seen. The clip shows Jon Snow and Sansa Stark reunite after Snow's battle with the White walkers in season seven.

Many are confusing the new footage with the siblings season seven reunion. However, it has been confirmed that their last reunion was at Castle Black whereas the latest one is from Winterfell.

Fans speculate return of Khal Drogo in 'Game of Thrones' series finale

The eight and final season of Game of Thrones was earlier scheduled to hit screens in April 2019. But sources have now confirmed that the series finale will not be released until June or July next year - much-like season seven's release in July 2017.
