QUETTA: Two police constables were gunned down and two passers-by, including a woman and a police official, sustained bullet wounds on Spini Road in Quetta on Sunday. The victims, Musa and Ishaq, were riding a motorbike on their way to Brewery Police Station from a church when unidentified assailants fired at them, killing both police officials on the spot. Two passers-by, a woman and a constable Mohammad Raza, received bullet-wounds. The bodies and the injured were taken to Bolan Medical Complex. “The deceased officials were Shia but it is premature to say that it was a sectarian killing,” an official said, adding the incident was being investigated. No group has so far claimed responsibility.
