A meeting of the provincial executive committee of the party held at the provincial secretariat was chaired by JUI-F’s provincial Ameer Maulana Naseeb Gul. It was especially attended by party’s chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The meeting rejected the result of the July 25 general elections and decided that a protest would be launched against the alleged rigging. Addressing the meeting, the provincial chief Maulana Naseeb Gul said that his party has rejected the rigged election and will block all important roads on August 8.
JUI-F leader alleges grand sale of independent candidates
MMA chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is being declared as the winner in every constituency where recounting is being done. He added that this is the reason why reopening most of the constituencies are being refused. The MMA chief said that the party will not leave the issue and will gain its due right.
The schedule of protests all over province has also been formulated. According to the protest plans, the Indus Highway would be blocked at Qureshi Chowk in Dera Ismail Khan. Lakki Marwat district and Tank will be blocked at Pezu. Malakand road will be blocked in district Dir Paen, Swat, Chitral at the Malaknd Road Chakdara Bridge. Nowshera would be blocked at GT Road in Akora Khattak. Motorway would be blocked at Rashkai Interchange and Sawabi Interchange while Shahrah-e-Raisham at three places including Mansehra, Batgram and Kohistan.

Moreover, the Awami National Party (ANP) has also directed its party workers and supporters to take part in the protest rally of opposition parties scheduled to be held outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on August 8. The ANP K-P chapter chief Ameer Haider Khan asked the party workers and supporters to participate in the protest against rigging in elections arranged by the political parties who have decided to sit in the opposition in the national assembly.
