Sherpao said that irrespective of personal and political considerations the whole nation should work to save the country from further chaos.

He regretted that the leadership of PTI had not fulfilled the election promises like restoration of peace, tranquillity, reforms, good governance and change which had disappeared. Sherpao said that the people of K-P were fed up with the unpopular and bad policies of the PTI government and they had showed total mistrust over the leadership. He contended that the Pakhtuns had exposed the true colours of the PTI government and they would not be further deceived by hollow slogans.

Sherpao underlined the need for taking effective measures for peace in the region which was essential for the interests of Pakistan and Afghanistan; therefore, concerted efforts were required to bring an end to bloodshed in the region. He stressed the need for removing the mistrust between the two countries. He suggested contacts at the government and people’s level so as to promote goodwill and harmony for bright future.

He had expressed serious concern over the unannounced and unscheduled excessive load-shedding in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He lashed out at the policies of the government for having restored to load-shedding in the sweltering summer.
