Delay of even an hour in elections will not be tolerated: Rind

PTI provincial president urges people to vote for honest and sincere candidates

QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Balochistan President Yar Muhammad Rind has said that delay of even an hour in the general elections will not be tolerated.

“The general elections are not less than a challenge for the public. They must elect honest and sincere people,” the PTI president said while talking to the media at Umrani House on Friday.



Former prime minister Zafarullah Jamali, who is an independent candidate, was also present.

Rind said, “The PTI candidates have the capability to serve the people as they are determined to develop the country.”

He urged the people to elect those who have capabilities, instead of “electing the same old faces again”.



He also vowed that the PTI would make the government in the Centre and the provinces and would overcome the deprivation of the people of Balochistan.

He said, “Once in power, steps will be taken for the establishment of Kachi Canal, Kirthar Canal and Pur Feeder Canal. As the people here are dependent on agriculture so with water the development of the area is impossible.”

On the occasion, Jamali said, “Our gathering is in favour of the development of the area. Our union is the need of the hour.”
