The prosecution told the court that on August 31, 2016, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) raided a house on Multan-Khanewal Road to arrest Allah Wadhayo, Naseem Akhtar and Gujjar Mai. The police also seized explosive material, 1,500 detonators and gun powder from their possession. The police registered a case against the accused under the Anti-Terrorism Act and presented a challan in the court.
During proceedings of the case, the accused were found guilty and awarded life imprisonment. The judge also ordered to confiscate the property of the convicts.
Sindh government hands over Sehwan attack case to ATC
Earlier, ATC awarded 28 years imprisonment to a convict for possessing explosives in Sargodha. The judgment was announced by ATC Judge Traiq Mehmood Zargham.
The prosecution told the court that on June 20, 2016, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Mianwali raided a house in Khora area in Khushab and arrested Nazir Ahmad.
The police also seized explosive material, four detonators and two safety fuels from his possession. The court also ordered the confiscation of the property of the convict.
