Shehbaz to return from London on June 21

Shehbaz Sharif left for London due to deteriorating health of Begum Kalsum Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif is set to return from London on Thursday.

Shehbaz left for London on Saturday morning, first day of the Eid, to inquire after Begum Kasloom Nawaz who still was in critical condition. The PML-N President celebrated Eidul Fitr along with Nawaz Sharif and his family in London.

Nawaz, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, Shehbaz’s son Salman Shehbaz and his wife were already in London since last Thursday.

Nawaz, Maryam ‘postpone’ return due to Kulsoom’s health

Shehbaz left for London due to deteriorating health of Begum Kalsum Nawaz.

On Thursday, Maryam took to her twitter and wrote, "Arrived in London only to hear that Ami is unwell & hospitalised again. Heading to the hospital. Prayers requested. Thank you."

Hours from that tweet Maryam evealed that Begum Kalsum Nawaz had a cardiac on Thursday and was in ICU on ventilator. She also appealed for prayers for her mother.

Moment after that Shehbaz tweeted “My Bhabhi Begum Kalsoom Nawaz is being kept in ICU due to her serious condition. The whole family is praying for her recovery. As the Holy Month of Ramadan comes to an end, I ask my compatriots to join me in prayers for her speedy recovery. The power of prayer is paramount!”

According to recent media interaction of Maryam Begum Kalsum was still in critical condition and was on ventilator. PML-N continues to appeal for prayers for begum Kalsum Nawaz’s quick recovery on social media.
