Tribal elder’s house, civil dispensary blown up in Kohlu

Government school also partially damaged in separate attack

QUETTA: Unidentified miscreants on Friday blew up a civil dispensary, house of a tribal notable in Kohlu and partially damaged a government school. Luckily, no casualty was reported in the blasts.
According to the Levies force, unidentified persons planted three explosive devices beside a civil dispensary, government school and a tribal elder’s house in Kohlu.
“They detonated the explosives with a remote-controlled device, blowing up the government installations and a house and managed to escape,” the Levies force personnel said.

The law enforcement agencies flanked by the Levies force and rescue workers rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. No casualty was reported in the blast. Forces have opened investigation.
Armed groups have started attacking political leaders of various parties in Balochistan.
Last week, the house of Balochistan National Party-Awami leader was blown up by militants in Turbat, while BNP-Mengal’s candidate had narrowly escaped a gun attack in Makran division.
Political parties have been demanding of the interim government headed by caretaker Chief Minister Alauddin Marri a peaceful environment for the upcoming elections.
