Rescue 1122 officials shifted victim to District Headquarters Hospital

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A man lost both his legs in a road crash in Rahim Yar Khan on Friday.

A police official told Express News that 28-year-old Nasar, a resident of Chowk Bahadar, who belongs to a minority community, was coming towards Sadiqabad City on a motorcycle when a speeding police car him near LP Road, Azad Nursery.

Road accident claims man’s life 

As a result, he suffered grave injuries and lost both his legs. Rescue 1122 officials shifted the victim to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.

In another incident, police arrested a drug dealer and seized drugs from his possession. A police official said a team raided a hideout in Nawa Arain area and apprehended drug dealer Muhammad Afzal.

The police also confiscated 22 bottles of liquor from his possession. The suspect was shifted to the police station while a case was registered against him.
