MUZAFFARABAD: At least three people were killed on Monday when a jeep fell into a ravine in the Davlian area of Muzaffarabad.

The jeep, loaded with fruit and vegetables, was also carrying passengers on their way to Neelum Valley when the driver lost control while taking a sharp turn, eyewitnesses said.

They said that the jeep hit a roadside barrier and fell down the bank which killed three people on the spot.

Motorway police has fined 100,000 vehicles since January 2018

The deceased were identified as Irshad, Shah Zaman and Wasim.

The bodies were retrieved from the wreckage. Eyewitnesses claimed that Rescue 1122 failed to reach the scene of the accident despite repeated calls from the local people.
