SHO’s Escape: Court asks DIG to ensure arrest

LAHROE: Additional district and sessions Judge Abdul Khan directed the DIG Operations to ensure the arrest of the South Cantonment SHO, Zafar Iqbal, who had fled from the courtroom after the judge awarded him six-month imprisonment for not complying with court orders. The court directed the DIG to submit a report before the court today. The court had issued notices to SHO Iqbal several times to produce prosecution witnesses in a murder case registered in 2006.
