Police say the two unidentified armed suspects mugged a citizen at Iqbal Town

ISLAMABAD: Another man fell victim to armed motorcyclists in Khanna area even as police continue to chase shadow of the gangsters who have looted several people at gunpoint in the area over the last few weeks.

Police said the two unidentified armed suspects mugged a citizen at Iqbal Town on Wednesday. There have been several similar muggings in the areas of Khanna and Koral along the expressway recently.

A trader was looted on Lehtrar Road near Khanna Pul on April 20 while another man was mugged near Zia Masjid on 22nd.

Police say at least three gunpoint-muggings were reported from the Khanna area in March alone, all of them involving two unidentified motorcyclists.

Meanwhile, two women were injured in two separate incidents of violence and gun fire.
