GOJRA: Gojra police have registered a case against landlord Liaqat Kahloon and his sons for unleashing their dogs on labourer Noor Muhammad’s son Ali Hussain in Chak 423GB.

Hussain died on Tuesday, after being hospitalised for over 26 days with severe bite wounds. The police have started searching for the accused in the case.

Police officials initially refused to file the case and Muhammad said that they ignored his repeated attempts to register an FIR against the two landlords. The accused unleashed their dogs on seven-year-old Ali when he was on his way home three weeks ago.

The boy was taken to hospital and was shifted to his house after medical treatment but he did not recover from his wounds. Police are currently searching for the two accused, who have fled the district.
