Hockey: Bahawalpur thrash Rawalpindi

Bahawalpur thumped Rawalpindi 25-0 in the fourth match of Girls Hockey Tournament .

LAHORE: Bahawalpur thumped Rawalpindi 25-0 in the fourth match of the Inter-Division Youth U-16 Girls Hockey Tournament yesterday (Wednesday) at the National Hockey Stadium. Riffat scored eight goals followed by Maira’s tally of seven to destroy the Rawalpindi squad.

On the other hand, Lahore excelled against Sargodha 13-0 with Shafaq scoring six goals, Madeha Alam three while Saba and Kanwal Shehzadi scored two each. Lahore face Rawalpindi while Bahawalpur play against Sargodha today.
