The speaker of the upper house of the Russian parliament, Valentina Matvienko, said on Wednesday that Moscow should react to Britain’s actions in a fast, tough and reciprocal way, RIA news agency cited the lawmaker as saying.
Matvienko also labelled British actions towards Russia a provocation, after British Prime Minister Theresa May said Britain would expel 23 Russian diplomats and suspend all planned high level bilateral contacts between London and Moscow.
