Envoys of 11 countries offer ties to NUST

Ambassadors, high commissioners and deputy heads of missions from as many as 11 countries visited NUST

Envoys from 11 countries have said they will as the higher education institutions of their countries to build ties with National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

According to a NUST statement, ambassadors, high commissioners and deputy heads of missions from as many as 11 countries visited NUST on Tuesday.

NUST Rector Lt Gen (retd) Naweed Zaman along with the senior management of university greeted the guests from Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Cuba, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia and Yemen.

The guests were given a detailed briefing on NUST, focusing on national and international achievements, array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, state-of-the-art research facilities, R&D, etc. While speaking to the guests, the rector apprised them of collaboration opportunities available at NUST in research, student exchange programmes and faculty mobility.
