Adoption of e-governance inevitable

The meeting also discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation in this regard

The adoption of e-governance for the development of livestock sector inevitable. This was stated by the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Livestock Mohibullah Khan while presiding over a meeting regarding e-governance on Thursday. In this regard, he directed that officials must guarantee adoption of the e-governance system to make the province self-sufficient in both meat and milk production. During the meeting, the special assistant was presented with a detailed presentation on e-governance and adoption of modern technology by taking benefit of Punjab’ expertise in this regard. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation in this regard. Apart from Mohibullah, Agriculture and Livestock Secretary Mohammad Israr, Director General Dr Sher Mohammad and senior officials of livestock sector including from the Punjab attended the meeting.
