MULTAN:

Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers celebrated outside the Multan Press Club after the coalition between the two political parties. On Tuesday, PML-Q  workers in the district took to the streets in celebration and distributed sweets among passers-by after an understanding was reached between both parties.

PML-Q leader Rana Amaar Hafeez and Yasmin Khakwani started the celebrations and distributed food and sweets among press club members on the occasion.

Members of both parties fed each other sweets and celebrated by performing bhangra on the occasion. “We have decided to support the government in its quest to improve the lives of Pakistani citizens,” PML-Q’s Hafeez said on the occasion. The PML-Q workers said that the understanding between the parties was a step forward for democracy in the country and that the party had taken the decision after great consideration.

“Those who have criticised this decision have done so because of their own guilt. They are robbing the country and are laying the blame elsewhere,” he said.
