‘District model courts to ensure justice,’ CJP LHC

Sessions judges of all districts have been directed to set up two courts in district headquarters for handling cases

LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has ordered to set up two model courts in each district of the province to ensure dispensation of speedy justice to the litigants.

The District Judiciary director general issued a directive dispatched to all the districts and sessions judges of the province claiming the LHC CJ, under the management plan, had given approval to set up two model courts in each district of the province which would deal with matters relating to murder and civil nature cases.

One model court would only work on murder cases while the second in civil matters. The sessions judges of all the districts have been directed to set up two courts in district headquarters for handling the cases to ensure dispensation of speedy justice to the litigants.
