LAHORE: Lahore Police issued its report of action against one-wheeling, fire-works and aerial firing on Tuesday. According to the report, police had registered 21 cases for aerial firing and arrested 27 suspects. Moreover, it registered 23 cases of fire-works and arrested 26 suspects. Furthermore, 22 cases of one-wheeling were registered in which 38 suspects were arrested. In a statement, Operations DIG Dr Haider Ashraf said that they also recovered a kalashinkove, three riffles, two repeaters, 17 pistols and 128 bullets from the custody of the suspects. Ashraf claimed that it was due to comprehensive strategy of Lahore Police that no human life was lost on the New Year’s Eve.
