One dead, four injured in Dera Bugti landmine blast

In a separate incident, unidentified persons opened fire at a house killing six of a family

QUETTA: At least one person was killed while four others were injured when a landmine blast went off near an ambulance in Balochistan's Dera Bugti area, Levies said.

Security forces have reached the blast site.

In a separate incident, unidentified persons opened fire at a house in Toba Nuhakani. The house belonged to a man named Gujjar who died on the spot along with his two wives and three children.

Last month, a suicide bomb attack targeting a convoy of the paramilitary Frontier Corps killed at least five people – including a woman – and injured 26 others in a busy neighbourhood of Quetta.
