An All Parties Conference may also be convened if needed.

Senator Raja Zafarul Haq and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif have been tasked with preventing potential differences and grouping.

PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has also maintained understanding to get important legislations including Fata reforms and new accountability laws through.

However, the final decision will be made by the PML-N leadership on the occasion of the Senate elections based on the political situation.

PML-N  is gradually implementing a policy of political reconciliation rather than confrontation. The purpose of the policy is completion tenure by the present assemblies, setting up of caretaker governments and timely general elections.

Nawaz Sharif is constantly in consultation with party's senior leadership on political developments in the country including the judgments about Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen, Hudabiya Paper Mills and Tahirul Qadri contacting other parties to form a possible alliance. He is also keeping an eye on legislation on important matters and possible grouping within the party.

Sources in PML-N shared that the leadership of the party has suggested Nawaz that any criticism or confrontation with the state institutions in the present circumstances must be avoided and reconciliation should be adopted so that elections are held without delay.
