PDWP approves three projects

These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of the PDWP of the current fiscal year 2017-18

Punjab government's affection with roads and motorways is a blessing for commuters.

LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Friday approved three development schemes of road sector with an estimated cost of Rs1758.091 million. These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of the PDWP of the current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over Planning and Development Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. The approved development schemes included: rehabilitation of Nankana-Mangtanwala road length 17.00 km, Nankana Sahib (revised) with a cost of Rs 496.563, dualisation of road from motorway interchange Jang Bahtar to Wah, length 3.00 km, Taxila, Rawalpindi (revised) with a cost of Rs482.817 million and construction of overhead bridge at Depalpur Chowk, Okara (revised) with a cost of Rs778.711 million.
