The Pakistani prisoners Bashir Afridi, Raham al Wahab and Abdul Rehman were sentenced to death for murdering Yaqoob Leghari in Saudi Arabia.
The relatives of these Pakistanis appealed for their release, claiming they have settled the matter after paying blood money.
Sources said that the Saudi government asked for documented proof of payment to be handed over to embassy in Pakistan so that the case can move forward.
These documents will be produced before the judge in Saudi Arabia to secure the release of the prisoners.
The Saudi government also offered visas to the relatives in case they wish to personally visit.
