LAHORE: The Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) retrieved about seven kanal land worth Rs5 million from an illegal occupant.

This was stated by OPC Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti in a meeting held on Friday. He said that the land belonged to an expatriate Pakistani named Rashid Khan, who is working in the United Kingdom. Khan lodged a complaint that some people had forcefully occupied his land situated in Sultan Pura, Tehsil Dina, District Jhelum.

The complaint was referred to the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee, (DOPC) Gujrat and with the assistance of DOPC members, the land was vacated and handed over to the owner.
