LAHORE: The Vets Care Club of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore observed World Animal Day on Wednesday.

Spreading awareness: World Veterinary Day observed at UVAS

A walk was organised to mark the day to create awareness among people about the protection and conservation of animal lives, humane handling of animals in feeding, treatment and misuse for entertainment purposes also. Veterinary Science Faculty Dean Dr Masood Rabbani led the walk while a number of students from various societies for example Special Animals and Veterinary Emergency Relief Society (SAVERS), Vet Crescent Society (VCS), Vets Care Club (VCC) and faculty members participated.
