Subduing Justice: District judge receives threatening calls

MULTAN: Yazman Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ashraf at Yazman Police Station on Wednesday. Police said Judge Muhammad Ashraf had received threatening phone calls from unidentified criminals. In his recorded statement, he said the suspects had been giving death threats for the last one week. Police said the unidentified suspects who were threatening Additional District and Session Judge Muhammad Ashraf contacted once again after the registration of FIR. The suspects are demanding that the verdict of a case that is being heard at district and sessions court should be given in their favour or else they would kill Judge Muhammad Ashraf.
