PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Gulzar Khan passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his residence in Peshawar.

According to his family,  Gulzar's funeral prayers will be held later today  [Monday] in his village, Masho Gaggar near Badaber on the outskirts of Peshawar. According to sources, Gulzar's health had deteriorated in recent years, he was said to be too weak to be on his feet.

Bureaucrat turned Politician, Gulzar was the leading the dissident group within the PTI. He refused to resign when PTI chairman Imran Khan directed party leaders for mass resignations in 2014 to protest against allegedly 'rigged' 2013 elections.
