PESHAWAR: A meeting of District Development Committee (DDC) Mardan was held with District Nazim, Himayatullah Mayar in the chair. Besides, District Naib Nazim, Asad Ali Kashmiri and District Officer Finance (DOF), Zaheeruddin Babar, TMO and representatives of health, education, public health, Wapda and other departments attended the huddle. The meeting approved an amount of Rs 42.3 million for development projects of health and other public welfare oriented schemes. Briefing the meeting regarding the schemes, DOF said that a sum of Rs.8 million has been allocated for the repairing of different basic health units, Rs. 3.8 million for cementing of streets and sanitation schemes, Rs.617 million for power transformers, electric poles and wires. Similarly, an amount of Rs.2 million has been allocated for social and welfare reforms.
