Mahesh Bhatt lauds Humayun Saeed starrer 'Punjab Nahi Jaungi'

The upcoming Pakistani flick Punjab Nahi Jaungi is definitely a movie to watch out for this Eid. It seems to be an all rounder, comprising a talented cast and promising script.

Mahesh Bhatt has been known to appreciate Pakistani artists as he has previously approached them numerous times. The veteran director has recently exhibited his appreciation for the film and faith in the Yalghaar actor on social media. He tweeted:

Back in 2015 it was rumoured that Mahesh Bhatt and Humayun Saeed were to join hands and work together on a film called Dushman. They claimed to believe that it may bring India and Pakistan closer in the thick of strained relations.

Although that project never happened, this movie seems to have succeeded in grasping  people's attention, even across the border.

Punjab Nahi Jaungi, also stars Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane, and is set to release on Eidul Azha 2017. Make sure to get your tickets!
