Faryal Makhdoom threatens to 'destroy' Amir Khan after bitter break-up

Amir was desperate to leave Faryal since two years, reveals a source

Boxer Amir Khan and blogger Faryal Makhdoom's bitter split has been making headlines since the news of their divorce was announced on Amir's Twitter handle.

Since the news broke out, the process of terminating the marriage has been quite the roller coaster. The twitter war of a blame game between the estranged ex-couple made quite a fiasco on the internet, and now further grievances and emotional baggage are making headlines too.



Faryal Makhdoom, 26, threatened to “destroy him” as their marriage collapsed, reports The Sun. She said she has 'enough dirt to bury' Amir Khan. On the other hand, Amir felt so suffocated by the marriage that he even turned to alcohol to cope, share pals of the couple.

He was desperate to leave Faryal since two years. The pair was“living in hell,” they add.

“But every time an argument blew up, she would tell him he was dreaming if he thought he could divorce her — it would be her divorcing him because she had so much dirt on him," Amir's pals inform.



“She said divorce could destroy him and leave his reputation in tatters. He would lose his money, sponsors, his fan base, everything.And she would tell him this in front of his friends," they confessed while talking about the dying marriage.

“Eventually he snapped. He told her, ‘F*** it, I’m done with you. I don’t give a damn. I’d rather have my peace of mind."

Looks like the couple were in a toxic, unhealthy relationship devoid of  any form of affection and respect and in essence the marriage had ended long before the couple went public with their decision.
