FAISALABAD: City traffic police chalked out a traffic plan to ensure smooth flow of traffic on Independence Day.

Islamabad traffic police has no speed radar cameras

At least 600 traffic wardens, 50 constables and head-constables and 48 traffic inspectors will perform duty which will be supervised by four DSPs. CTO Baqa Bughti said on Friday that 72 pickets will be set up at different areas of the city while 10 special squads will conduct patrolling to maintain peace. He added cases will be registered against wheelie-doers while an awareness campaign and pamphlets will be distributed among citizens on August 14.
