Over 200 students from educational institutions across the country visited the Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) as a part of an ongoing annual internship programme on Tuesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Students were fascinated to see the production potential of the defence industry.

HIT Chairman Lt General Naeem Ashraf interacted with the students and underscored the contributions of HIT towards self reliance in defence equipment.

Students showed keen interest and asked questions related to the defence capabilities of Pakistan while taking into account the emerging security challenges as well.
