The unprecedented verdict of the Supreme Court to disqualify now ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif for not disclosing one of his sources of income while contesting the 2013 elections dominated the news and social media sphere on Friday.
Along with thousands of Pakistani Twitter users, local politicians and foreign journalists, Pakistani celebrities too posted their reaction to what is being dubbed a historic decision by the apex court.
The highly politically vocal actor and activist Hamza Ali Abbasi sent out a string of tweets celebrating the verdict.
