Quality teachers for quality learning

Letter June 24, 2017
The importance of primary and secondary education needs to be reinforced

PESHAWAR: This is in response to Amin Jan Naim’s article “Larger dimensions” published on June 19th. It is an interesting article. Although, I don’t consider myself qualified to comment on matters of the cosmos, I do, however, fully agree with the author regarding the importance of teachers at primary and secondary levels because they constitute the foundation of the education system. These cadres must be given the highest status by upgrading them both financially and administratively. High quality teachers will produce competent students.
