ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Speaker Fehmida Mirza said Pakistan highly valued its relations with UK and wanted to strengthen cooperation between the two countries through enhanced economic cooperation and parliamentary ties. She expressed these views while talking to the British High Commissioner Adam Thomson in Islamabad, who called on her at the Parliament House on Friday. She underscored the need for regular interaction between the political leaderships of the two countries. Thomson said Pakistan was UK’s important ally and was playing a vital role in curbing against terrorism, while stressing the country’s colossal role for regional prosperity.
