This Twitter exchange between Wasim Akram and wife Shaniera is too cute for words!

Check out what Shaniera had to say about his shocking transformation

During the late 90s, a batsman would think twice before stepping on to a field where the dynamic duo of Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar were waiting for him.

Fast forward all those years and the two cricket legends are still making headlines, despite  having retired ages ago. Most recently, they caught our eye not because of their extraordinary sportsmanship but their shocking transformation for an upcoming show.



Wasim and Shoaib donned a desi avatar, complete with gandassa and a striking resemblance to Maula Jatt and arch-nemesis Noori Jatt from the 1979 Punjabi action flick.

Considering his new look, it was only natural when Wasim's wife Shaniera took to Twitter to express her thoughts. "The face you make when you are in the kitchen cooking and your husband comes home as Noori Nath #NawaAyaHaiSohnaya @wasimakramlive" she tweeted.

In another tweet, the Australian native wrote, "So you can imagine how confused I was when this guy came home from work yesterday, instead of Wasim."
