ISLAMABAD: The teaching fraternity of Islamabad colleges have condemned the maltreatment of a professor at the hands of Punjab Police in Sargodha. An emergency meeting of Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) was held on the concerns of teaching community against use of indecent language and harassment of Prof Azhar Sherazi of Kot Momin Sargodha by Punjab Police on the directives of said Assistant Commissioner Ifatun Nissa. FGCTA President Prof Sagheer Ahmad Mirani condemned this indecent act of bureaucracy against teaching community. He said that FGCTA fully supports PPLA in all its measures on this heinous act against college teachers.
