According to minister, many mafias involved in leaking exam papers

KARACHI: Education Minister Jam Mahtab Dahar has blamed the Governor House for the wide-scale cheating that has been going on during the board examinations in Sindh.

Unfair tactics during the examinations flourished because the management of boards used to be under the governor, the education minister said. He was talking to reporters after visiting various examination centres in Karachi.

In the past, the matters of education boards were being run by the governor house that created all the mess that promoted cheating, said Dahar, adding that it will take some time to control things and bring reforms.

"The cheating mafia had made an unsuccessful attempt to defame the education department and we have taken drastic measures to foil their conspiracy," the minister remarked while visiting Government Islamia Girls Degree College in Saddar.

The education minister was of the view that the issue of leaking papers was quite serious and many mafias were involved in the crime. "They would be brought to task so that no one would dare to leak examination papers in the future," he said.
