Golden Jubilee: ADB meeting to commence on May 4

The meeting’s theme is “Building Together the Prosperity of Asia”

YOKOHAMA: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be holding its 50th Annual Meeting of Board of Governors between May 4 and 7, which will be attended by the delegates from across the globe. The meeting’s theme is “Building Together the Prosperity of Asia” and the event will accord emphasis on issues such as regional cooperation, trade and economic connectivity across the region. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is also scheduled to attend the event, along with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ finance ministers’ meeting, which will be held on the margins in Yokohama, Japan. The meet is supposed to unleash slew of opportunities for interaction with the ADB management and experts, alongside the region’s leading figures and policymakers.
