Sources told The Express Tribune that it is customary for Pakistani pilgrims to Iran to face such a situation for 10 to 15 days.  However, they clarified that the pilgrims are taken back in convoys by the district administration after every 10 to 15 days.

The district administration was negotiating with the protesting pilgrims till the filing of this report.
