Faraz Manan’s ‘Mirage — Summer Couture 2017’ depicts a fascinating aura of mystery presenting awe-worthy and captivating silhouettes with the dramatic layering of garments. The collection is centred on the clever detailing of interesting shapes, metallic hangings, signature fringes with bold necklines, and the combination of flowing and tapered silhouettes to add an element of surprise to each piece.



The collection entails luxury fabrics such as French silk, lamé, brocade and organza, with Manan’s signature colour palette featuring hues of blue, pink, gold and grey. ‘Mirage’ is a beautiful mix of delicate embellishments, appliqué and cutwork techniques, and layering and fusion tailoring. The designer states: “with an exotic and luxurious feel, ‘Mirage’ is sure to captivate the heart of those who see and adorn.”
