Deadly but sad facet of Lahore

Published: April 21, 2017

LAHORE: As the avowed cultural capital of Pakistan, Lahore represents a spectrum of ideas, moods and groups — all too difficult to straitjacket.

This year’s Red Book, published by the Counter-Terrorism Department, stating the names of the most wanted terrorists in Punjab, uncovered a sad facet about the city that it is also home to the highest number of wanted terrorists. Out of 113 wanted terrorists, 19 hail from one district.

According to the data, Lahore is also home to the wanted terrorists representing the two main sects.
