Conventional ice cream flavours may now be a thing of the past because this new flavour has hit the streets of India, and ice cream fiends are drooling.

Papa Cream, an ice cream parlour in Mumbai, recently introduced pani puri flavour ice cream to its menu. Yes, you heard us! The concoction, a blend of tangy and sweet flavours, ensures that no flavour of the pani puri is lost.

According to DNA, potato mousse is used in canapes to replace the filling, while the tangy imli water is stored in nitrogen- which brings down preparation time to a mere five minutes after the order being placed.

"Mumbai is famous for its street food. We wanted to make something different with the flavour of street food but can be served like an ice cream to our customers. We are getting good response too. Many people demand the pani puri ice cream after looking at the menu," founder of the ice cream parlour, Tanvi Choudhary, said.
