Police releases detained foreigners after investigation

Peshawar police had arrested 4 US nationals because they refused to show their identity when questioned.

PESHAWAR: Peshawar police on Monday released four United States (US) nationals who were arrested from a town in the city.

According to sources, the US nationals were released after a complete and thorough investigation.

They were arrested earlier when they refused to show their identity when asked.

Number plates of the two vehicles being used by them turned out to be fake, while the actual number plates were inside the vehicle.
